Today is 65 Roses Day in Australia, in support of Cystic Fibrosis, to raise money for ongoing research, and care.
I went to school with a CF child, we all watched over him, knowing that he wasn't supposed to make 3 or 7 or 14, Michael finally lost his battle with this awful disease just a few months short of his 26th birthday, while on the waiting list for a heart/lung transplant.
It is hard to find the money to go around the many different worthy causes, but please try to find a little something for CF and 65 Roses, be it a simple wrist band, rose pin or a pen.
We have come so far, from the days where children didn't make their, 3rd, 7th and 14th birthdays. Now more are making it into their 20's and 30's.
Breathe Life!!!
