Loss

My day has been filled with such heartache and sorrow, my old boss passed away last night. He was like a second father to me, a best friend. The day has been beyond comprehension.

A surgeon and a wonderful man, who gave hope and life to so many.

A day full of phone calls and notifications, doctors, nursing staff, old patients, and just when you think you are getting near the end someone says...
"Have you told so and so?"

It was like dropping a pebble in a pond and the ripples just kept getting bigger and bigger.

And This Little Pig said Crazy Finishes No 9 & No 10

One of the little pigs surveying Crazy January finish No 10, this little pig likes feeling the sun on her face.
Crazy finish No 9 Little House Needleworks Pumpkin Hollow Farm.
I've enjoyed all my Crazies, but both the pumpkins, the above and CCN Pumpkin Cottage have been special, I am contemplating entering both in my local Ag Show (Fair), just have to get them framed in time.
Crazy finish No 10 Little House Needleworks Ornaments 2010 Snowy Pines.

So that's 10 down with 5 to go with a little over three months, 4 LNH Ornaments and one large piece Gracewood Stitches Northern Lights.

And This Little Pig said Cow-Day-Wednesday

This is Sad Cow, she just had that sort of face.
Sorrowful.
Yet inquisitive.
With a kind eye.
Reminding us that it was still winter, the fog rolled in this morning.
It was quite thick, and didn't dissipate until late morning.

Cross stitch post tomorrow, my Little House Needlework finishes that are part of my January Crazies list.

And This Little Pig said Cow-Day-Wednesday

Yes I'm back from Holidays, and you know how it is, getting back into the swing, home, work... life. Still working through the holiday photos. But did take the time today to take Cow-Day photos.
Don't you love this guy's forlock, a bit of Ying and Yang.
You can't see me.
This is what you call a Mohawk at the "other" end.
Not a Cow-Day photo, but I took this the other night in the carpark at the supermarket, right on dust. Beautiful colouring with an unusual bank of clouds.

Finally back into stitching hope to have one of my Crazies finished by the weekend.
