Phantom of the Opera.
The Wednesday before Easter, and we have no cattle sale this week... but a couple of weekends ago, I visited a friends dairy farm, and got some really cute calf photos. Including the boy above whom we named The Phantom. We took a trip through the calving paddock, it's were they keep the cows and young heifers, near the house to keep a close eye on them. Along with some older cows that are no longer in the dairy but raise beef cross calves.
This is the first calf my their new bull, he is a Charbray (Charolais X Brahman) The photo speaks of her cuteness, it is hard to believe, that her mum is a Friesian.
With her mum, she had only been calved a couple of hours.
Cow in waiting.
Playing hide and seek, can you find Phantom?
Phantom's playmate, Little Miss Attitude.
You know if only they could stay this cute.
LiBBiE in Oz, who is back!
Sweet pictures, Libbie! The little brown one with the Friesian mom is adorable!
