And This Little Pig said Crazies Day 6 with a Bonus

Day 6 of the Crazies is going so much better, I felt so much more motivated, don't know why, just one of those things I suppose.

So LHN Ornament Peppermint Twist, this one is going to have to wait a little while for a finish, as I still have to order the speciality threads from the USA :D
Also now is the time for a small confession, I actually have 16 pieces I want to start in the Crazy January Challenge. I mean how can you do the 12 Little House Needleworks Ornaments for 2010, and not do the LHN companion piece 'Happy Skater' that appeared in the JSC Ornaments 2010. So by the end of the year I should/will have a baker's dozen of new ornaments for my tree!
I really enjoyed doing this, and may even take some time out of tomorrows ornament to finish. I really enjoyed this piece, having started it early this morning before work, and also stitching in my lunch hour.

I also came home and photographed in normal light, turned out so much better, really have to sit down with the manual for my Nex-5 to work out the flash and night shooting inside, in not so brilliant light. Oh well when I have all my Crazies started.

Till tomorrow... LiBBiE in Oz

  1. It's a curse being a day behind, Libbie, because I'm always playing catch up to you! ROTFL I wasn't doing the ornaments in any kind of order and I have a bunch of other things I'm doing too, but it's ironic that we started the same pattern on the same day! Looking forward to seeing what you'll be doing next! Thanks for the comment on my blog...hang in there, we're a third of the way already! *Hugs*

  6. Ah cross-stitching... your blog makes me want to do a post about my own cross-stitching history. You'd probably laugh at me, though and the simpleton designs I worked on. lol
I used to LOVE doing this...it was so relaxing...then the problem came that I have no decent light in my house..and then my eyes started to go...and then...well, then we moved to the farm.
    :-)
I'm totally going to do a cross-stitch post, though. And I'll probably dedicate it to you for reminding me how much I used to love to do this.
Hey- if you ever run across a donkey pattern, let me know, would you? :-)
